Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys is pleased to announce that their law firm is partnering with GAP Ministries to host two FREE backpack giveaways on Saturday, August 15, 2020. Lerner and Rowe is providing 750 total backpacks stuffed with school supplies that GAP Ministries has coordinated to be handed out at Ministerios Ammijezreel (4102 S. 12th Avenue,Tucson, 85714) and Family Christian Center (6516 South Burcham Avenue, Tucson, 85756).
Each location will hand out 375 backpacks from 8:00 a.m. through 10:00 a.m., or while supplies last. Limitations do apply. Families are asked to be mindful entering and exiting the parking lots.
“For 2020, our team continues to actively reinvent the ways we give back and support local communities. We know how much the COVID-19 pandemic has financially affected the lives of many families. As such, we are not cancelling our annual Tucson backpack giveaway, but instead are parenting up with GAP Ministries to host two drive-thru events at local churches in areas of high need. It is our hope that some of the typical back-to-school expenses will be offset through these giveaways, as well as giving students the needed tools to help them succeed in the 2020-2021 school year,” said attorney Kevin Rowe.
